It is through loving full-time foster parents that children receive the permanency, healing and security that they need to thrive and eventually become successful adults.

Becoming a full-time foster parent

Full-time foster parents care for children until they can be safely returned to their biological parents, or in some cases, become eligible for adoption. Foster care placements may last weeks, months or years.

As a therapeutic foster care agency, many of the youth The Bair Foundation serves have experienced abuse, trauma and neglect. We work diligently to match a child’s needs to your family’s strengths, and you have the final say as to what foster care placements you accept into your home.

We follow all court ordered-treatment and permanency plans and we work in the best interests of the child while supporting you, the foster family.

Our number one priority is the well-being of the children in our care, and we are committed to giving you the resources you need to succeed.
