THE BAIR FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, RENAY CROUSE

New Wilmington, Pa., The Bair Foundation announces the appointment of Renay Crouse as its new executive director, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Crouse, who has been with the Bair foundation since 1989 and has been a cornerstone in leadership as the Executive Vice President since 1994 ,brings over thirty-five years of dedicated experience in social services to her new role.

Crouse’s extensive background includes clinical licensures in both Ohio and Texas, a Master of Science in Social Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Her unwavering commitment to the mission of The Bair Foundation, as demonstrated by her leadership, has been instrumental in advancing the organization’s impact on children and families.

Dr. Susan J. Miklos, the outgoing executive director who has led The Bair Foundation for the past 39 years, praised Renay’s appointment.  “Renay is exceptionally talented in leadership development and has consistently demonstrated her expertise in this area through numerous presentations. Her ability to connect with others, from legislators to policymakers, is unparalleled. Renay ‘never met a stranger’ and has been remarkably effective in her communications and advocacy.”

Crouse’s tenure as executive vice president has been marked by her innovative approach and dedication. Her promotion to executive director signifies a continued commitment to excellence and a promising future for The Bair Foundation.

“I am honored and excited to step into the role of executive director,” Crouse said. “I look forward to continuing the important work of The Bair Foundation and collaborating with our dedicated team and partners to further our mission of supporting and empowering children and families in need.” 

The Bair Foundation remains committed to its mission of providing quality care and support to children and families. With Crouse at the helm, the organization is poised to build on its legacy of success and make an even greater impact in the communities it serves. Miklos, the retiring CEO, will serve as executive director – advisor to The Bair Foundation’s board. Miklos has served The Bair Foundation for the past 39 years.
